In March, to support the launch of Women’s Forum Australia’s research paper, Reality Check, a team of seven walkers undertook the Great Ocean Road Walk Challenge. The team shared a 55 km journey along the scenic Great Ocean Road, to raise awareness of the importance of work life balance and how important it is to women’s lives.
“The Great Ocean Road Walk is a rare gem, with amazing views and beaches. The itinerary was carefully planned with friendly leaders, so all I had to do was walk and take in the views of the ever changing scenery. Eating lunch on the top of a high seaside hill, overlooking the blue ocean, was a favourite moment. Loved it.”

“This was a fantastic adventure! All I had to do was show up in Melbourne and the accommodation, transfers and meals were all organised for the trip. The scenery of the Great Ocean Road walk was both spectacular and inspiring, and at its end, I felt as though I'd achieved something significant. Looking forward to next year!”
